Chiefs Acknowledge Alleged Abuse Claims Connected to Wide Receiver Rashee Rice
The NFL franchise issued a statement Wednesday night indicating they have knowledge of domestic violence allegations made public in social media posts by a ex-partner of wide receiver Rashee Rice and were in communication with the league office.
The organization did not mention Rice specifically in their statement and stated they would have “no further comment at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name the athlete by name, shared a set of images on social media that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. She stated the person involved was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has kids with Rice, whom the team drafted in the 2023 draft.

No official complaints were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place.
